JAZZ ON THE MOVE! A Jazz Institute of Houston Event

 In the tradition of the once-a-month gatherings of such past organizations
as the Jazz Month Club or the Milt Larkin Jazz Society, comes JAZZ ON THE
MOVE! This event, sponsored by The Jazz Institute of Houston, will occur
every 2nd Thursday of each month rotating between Houston area venues that
features live Jazz. This will be an opportunity for jazz lovers in Houston
to gather and meet 

one another while helping to increase the audiences at
our local jazz venues.

The inaugural meeting of JAZZ ON THE MOVE! will
be March 11 at the French Corner. A reception with free hors'douevres and a
cash bar will be begin at 6:30 pm. Music provided by Paul English, piano and
the Jazz Institute's Artistic Director, Horace Alexander Young, vocals,
sax/flute, begins at 7pm. It's also singers night, and vocalists are invited
to bring their charts and sit in.
