Chris Cortez Trio Crabby Daddy Features Chris Cortez on guitar, Glen Ackerman on bass, and a rotating drum chair, usually split between Joel Fulgham and Joe Slezak. The group plays selections from Cortez' CDs, standards, originals, latin, swing, and blues. Nice, laid back vibe. Casual dining features great New Orleans style seafood. Morgan Bouldin Trio Tokyohana Grill & Sushi Bar Pianist Morgan Bouldin likes to say that this is the only place in Texas where you can listen to jazz & order sushi. While we have no snappy comeback for that, the reputation of Tokyohana has already been firmly established by the many positive reviews, as well as the extensive waiting list on Friday nights. Also, pick up a copy of Morgan's 2nd CD when it comes out May 1st!

Mark Towns presents Jazz Duos Ouisie's Table Mark Towns presents Houston's best jazz duos at this River Oaks area fine dining establishment. Featured performers in the regular rotation include guitarist Mark Towns, vocalist Tianna Hall, pianist Dave Marcellin, trumpeter Dennis Dotson, saxophonist Seth Paynter, and saxophonist Marvin Hebert, among others.
