The JazzHouston Member Content Policy


Jazzhouston.com is a privately owned and operated website. Participation in our system is granted to anyone who registers using the jazzhouston.com registration system. However, this participation is a revocable privilege. Members must abide by the rules and judgment set forth in this policy.

All services provided by Jazzhouston.com may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, trademark, intellectual property, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute without proper authorization.

Jazzhouston.com members agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Jazzhouston.com owners, site administrators, and anyone affiliated with its operation, including radiant.net the hosting company, from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the member or any other party.

Jazzhouston.com hereby reserves the right to remove posts (individual messages or entire threads) whose content is deemed in any way by the acting jazzhouston.com site administrator or editor to be offensive or inappropriate including spam posts, cyber-bullying, post burying, or anything else that violates the above guidelines.

These same rules of decency apply to information entered in a user's member profile and the username itself.

Jazzhouston.com reserves the right to close without warning the accounts of and prevent further registration by those users who repeatedly abuse this policy, the determination of which is at the sole discretion of jazzhouston.com administrators.

The jazzhouston.com administrators will not be able to monitor every post and user profile added to the site. If you feel there is content on the site that needs our attention, please raise your concern with the jazzhouston.com team. We make no guarantees that the suspect content will be removed.

To raise an issue with the content of a post, send an email to kel@jazzhouston.com and/or jazzhouston@daydream4.com

This policy applies to all content visible on jazzhouston.com through search or direct links that was created by jazzhouston.com members and anonymous posters, regardless of whether they were informed of this policy at the time of creation.

Jazzhouston.com reserves the right to change any and all of the above policies without notice.
