Clubs move, rename, fold...it's hard to keep track of the latest venues. So, our thanks go out to Jelando "Jerry" Johnson, who's sent us the latest update on a couple of poppin' Monday night jam sessions, and the clubs that host them: King Leo's is located at 4546 Griggs and the phone number is (713) 741-5105. It's the original Monday Night Jazz Jam from 8:30 to 12:30 with Leo Polk on vocals and trumpet, Dave Marcellin on keyboards, Dr. Carl Lott on drums and yours truly on bass. |
