Pauline Oliveros Solo, Duo, and Ensemble Improvisations in Observation of Mother‚s Day

Pauline Oliveros is one of the most distinguished artists ever to come out of Houston. She is a pioneer in the fields of electronic music, improvisation, and ritual and theater in music. She is the creator of Sonic Meditations and the founder of Deep Listening. She has been at the cutting edge of contemporary music for forty years.

Oliveros will be presenting a concert of solo, duo and ensemble improvisations. The event will feature Oliveros on accordian, pedal steel guitar innovator Susan Alcorn, trombone improvisor David Dove, and composer/ recorder player Thomas Bickley.
