Looking for something off the beaten path this weekend? The artists known as Rosta will be doin' their thing this weekend, and it will not be your father's Oldsmobile.....

"Chaos and Control"
presented by Rosta and Kool B
this weekend Oct. 27 and 28
@, 8pm, tickets/info: call 713.349.8369 or email jerosta@earthink.net
reserve tickets-$12

the show is approx. 90 minutes long, but who knows, it's somewhat different every time

"Chaos and Control" is a music and spoken word performance combining the avant-garde and traditional jazz music of Rosta with the poetry and storytelling of Kool B. The poetry and the music are highly integrated, and both utilize improvisation. The show tells the story of Nixon Little, and it narrates his journey towards sanity and awareness.

"John [Edward] Ross is a recipient of an Individual Artist Grant Award supported by the City of Houston through the Cultural Arts Council of Houston Harris County"
